Refund and Cancellation Policy
At BuyZoda, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If something goes wrong, we are here to make it right. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.
1. Our Commitment
We stand behind every product we sell. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or not as described, we will work with you to resolve the issue quickly and fairly.
2. Eligibility for Refund
You may be eligible for a refund or replacement if:
- The item received is damaged or broken upon delivery
- The item received is significantly different from what was described or shown on the website
- The item is defective and does not function as intended
- The item was not delivered within the promised timeframe and tracking shows no movement for more than 10 business days
Refund requests must be raised within 7 days of delivery of the product. Requests made after this window will not be entertained, except in cases of latent defects reported within a reasonable timeframe.
3. Non-Refundable Items and Situations
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Items that have been used, worn, washed, or altered after delivery
- Products damaged due to misuse, mishandling, or improper care by the customer
- Items returned without prior approval from our support team
- Digital products or downloadable content (if applicable)
- Orders where the incorrect address was provided by the customer and the product was delivered to that address
- Items marked as “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable” on the product page
- Refund requests raised after 7 days of confirmed delivery
4. How to Raise a Refund Request
To initiate a refund, follow these steps:
Step 1: Email us at support@buyzoda.com with the subject line: “Refund Request – Order #[Your Order Number]”
Step 2: Include the following in your email:
- Your full name and registered email address
- Order number
- A clear description of the issue
- Photos or a short video of the damaged/defective/incorrect item
Step 3: Our support team will review your request and respond within 2–3 business days.
Step 4: If your request is approved, we will initiate your refund through Razorpay, our payment gateway.
Step 5: The refunded amount will reflect in your original payment method (credit/debit card, UPI, bank account, wallet) within 5–7 business days from the date of refund initiation, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Note: Razorpay processes refunds electronically. Timing may vary slightly depending on your bank’s processing speed. BuyZoda has no control over your bank’s internal processing timeline once the refund has been initiated.
5. Refund Methods
Refunds are credited back to the original payment method used at the time of purchase:

6. Partial Refunds
Partial refunds may be issued in the following situations:
- Only a part of a multi-item order is damaged or incorrect, while the rest was delivered satisfactorily
- The product is returned but shows signs of use, packaging damage, or missing accessories — refund will be issued after deducting applicable restocking or depreciation charges
- A promotional discount or coupon was applied — the refund will reflect the actual amount paid, not the original price
7. Cancellation Policy
Before Shipment: You may cancel your order by contacting us at support@buyzoda.com within 24 hours of placing the order. If the order has not yet been dispatched, we will cancel it and initiate a full refund. The refund will be processed via Razorpay within 5–7 business days.
After Shipment: Once an order has been dispatched and is in transit, it cannot be cancelled. You may, however, raise a return/refund request once the item is delivered, subject to the eligibility criteria in Section 2.
How to Cancel: Send an email to support@buyzoda.com with:
- Subject: “Order Cancellation – Order #[Your Order Number]”
- Your full name and order details
- Reason for cancellation
8. Return Shipping
If a return is approved:
- We will provide you with instructions on how and where to send the product
- Return shipping costs may be borne by BuyZoda in cases of defective or incorrect items
- For other eligible returns, return shipping charges may be deducted from the refund or payable by the customer, as communicated by our support team
Do not ship any item back without receiving approval and instructions from our team. Unapproved returns will not be accepted.
9. Exchanges
We currently offer product exchanges on a case-by-case basis, subject to availability. If you’d like an exchange instead of a refund, please mention this in your refund request email and our team will advise accordingly.
